Electrofishing is a valuable non-lethal fish sampling technique used for fisheries research and management, and aquaculture. Our staff are experienced electrofishing a variety of aquatic habitats, including streams, large reservoirs, small lakes and ponds, and brackish Electrofishing - Fishbio Environmental Consulting & Environmental Researchdelta and marsh environments. Our electrofishing equipment and staff are available for subcontract on multidisciplinary regulatory projects throughout the west coast. Our electrofishing equipment includes a top-of-the-line 18’ Heavy Duty Smith-Root electrofishing boat and Smith-Root LR-24 backpack electoshockers, including all the necessary field equipment needed to capture, contain, and process fish in any aquatic environment.
